Atul Chatterji born Cawnpore North India on 9 February 1927 - He sadly died at Woking on 24 September 2014, and will be buried at St Mary's and All Saints Church Willoughby on the Wolds, opposite the bungalow where he and my mother lived for over thirty years. For him his final resting place and at peace

He first came to England as a young man aged just 21 in 1948 and studied at London University and became a chartered electrical engineer. He met Yvonne Franco (as she was then) in the early 1950's at a dance in London and they were married in 1953 in London. Atul worked for many of the heavy electrical engineering firms mostly in AEI - Sheffield, GEC - Manchester, English Electric - Stafford and Hawker Siddley Brush Loughborough from where he retired in 1992

He leave behind his wife Yvonne and me his son, Charles and is proud to have six grand children and also delighted to have seen his only great grand child, Michala born to Rahul and Emma in May 2014

I will always remember 'Chat' for the twinkle in his eye when he laughed, his penchant for talking politics and his love of horses.
