Dear Liz - Iam so sorry you had to leave us.
So many plans - unfulfilled. You went too soon,
too quickly.
I can't quite accept that you're not going to be there any more, that I cannot ever again call you, talk to you.
We will never again be together for Christmas,
for Easter, for family get - togethers.
That's very very sad.
Thank you for all my computer lessons.
You were a great help, a brilliant teacher. I could always rely on you to help me sort out all my computer problems !
Goodbye my darling Sister. Rest in peace.
God bless you and look after you. Love you always.
I think of you and pray for you every day.

Dear Liz, You were our little sister, so much younger than any of us, and yet you were the first to go...I still can't believe it, it hasn't sunk in. It will take some time to realise that you are no longer with us. The memories of you are so fresh, and there are so many of them, from a little girl full of mischief through to adulthood. I remember our holidays in the sun in the nineties. Those were wonderful, carefree days. More recently, I remember you looking after me when I was ill or convalescing. Last year I stayed with you for a week during the Olympics, when we had great fun pretending to be tourists and went sightseeing all around Kent. You helped me in so many practical ways, to clear my wardrobe, to install my new shower. I remember our visits to Wimbledon, our countless meals out and our wonderful long phone conversations. I will miss your kindness, good humour, hospitality and good, down-to-earth advice. I hope you are at peace now. I will think of you always. Your loving sister, Eva

I first met Liz in September 1967 at the Bentinck Road bus stop on the 1st day of the new school term. We were travelling to Loreto to start studying for our A levels. We hit it off straight away and as the story goes we never looked back. I missed Liz when she went away to Uni, I studied in Nottingham, but when she came home at weekends we just carried on as normal. When I emigrated to South Africa in 1975 I missed Liz but we kept in touch by letter. We came back to the UK in 1990 and again we just picked up where we left off. Liz has been a constant in my life all these years and I will miss her so much. She was a beautiful, funny, kind friend and I have been truly blessed to have Liz as my friend all these years. God Bless you Liz xxx
