In loving memory of Keith John King, who sadly passed away on 16th September 2016.

Keith was born on the 5th May 1939 and was the eldest of three children, living with his parents, his sister Carole and his brother Phillip. He grew up in Rochester during the war years, later attending Troy Town School.

He met his beloved wife Catherine whilst at school and, at the tender age of 18, they were married and remained so for 58 years until his passing. Soon after they married, they were blessed with their first born child, Julie, followed by Clive and then Richard.

Keith was hard-working, making a living as a wood machinist, until ill-health forced him to take early retirement.

The years following his retirement were spent with his family, enjoying his grandchildren - Justine, Kaylie, Grace and Thomas and more recently, his great-granddaughters, Emelie, Rosalie and Ariya.

He was an avid Arsenal fan and got enjoyment from watching the latest movies, as well as spending time at the family's caravan.

This is a celebration of the life of a husband, father and true friend, so please fill this page with any memories you have to help the family remember Keith with love and fondness.

Although you didn't quite make it as my official father-one-law, you have been like a father to me over the last 24years, and I know you'll be watching over Richard and I on our wedding day. RIP xxx

  • Can just hear his laugh with this photo ? He certainly didn't need a piece of paper signed to count you as family Kate. What a lovely memory of him telling you he loved you the day before he died . Hold that close to your heart xxx
