In loving memory of Alan Corthorn who sadly passed away on 12th September 2016.
Alan was a loving devoted husband to Coral and a wonderful father to Charlotte and Timothy.
He was a great son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin . He was loved by all his family and friends and will always be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

The engineering community is missing a valued, honed and polished professional.
It has been a privilege to have known and worked with Alan for many years on a variety of projects and problems. I came to know and learn from Alan, a dedicated and meticulous approach to solving problems with a calm demeanour, he has inspired and developed many young engineers. Alan was widely respected by friends and colleagues for his technical knowledge, diligence and pride in his work.
A true professional.
Alan will be sadly missed, but he leaves an invaluable legacy with the many he touched during his career.
