On 7th September 2016, whilst in the safe care of Kirkwood Hospice, Doreen, aged 70 years, sadly lost her battle with Cancer, DD, loving and much loved mother of Angela, Chris, Mandy and David and mother-in-law of Michael, Joe and Heidi, remembered with love by her partner Ben, beloved nanna of Jayme & Anthony, Carmell & Craig and Jay, loving great-nanna of Lexi and Riley.
Doreen will be received into St Mary of the Angels RC Church on Thursday 29th September 2016 at 6pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday 30th September 2016 at 10am followed by interment at Batley Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in DD’s memory may be placed in the collection box provided by George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of Kirkwood Hospice.

Thank you to everyone that came to mums funeral. She had a lovely service. Great thanks to George Brooks an Father Aemom of St Marys. I love and miss you more everyday.
The tears won't stop mum. How long will it take. My hearts in two I miss you.
what am.I going to do without my best friend. you was there to lend and mend you made my day special with little gifts. Our chats and laughs and knowing your so near.
My bingo buddy whom I love so dear.
You are in my heart and soul forever.
