I remember not being able to sleep with excitement when we came to visit. There was always something going on a strong family atmosphere. I remember the camping trip to lechlade. We took the dingys out on the little stream. Just always remember uncle melvin as a strong man and the one who looks most like my dad. When your a child it's special. I remember him giving me pocket money and going to the shops down the rd from the house. The fry ups auntie Jill cooked yum X I was free to be a child every visit. I felt part of a family and no one messed with that. I remember the fold out caravan the day trips to the market. I will hold all those close to my heart and always will. Uncle melvin auntie Jill penny and Darren thankyou for all those memory's. Rest easy with all the other angels xx

Uncle Melvin,
I will always remember how much fun you were. I will treasure my childhood memories of your visits to our house, always giving us £5 and sending us to spend it all on sweets. The many visits to your house and sleeping on the floor..... the amazing bonfire nights you put on at the back of your house. It was always exciting to visit uncle Melvin, not forgetting the singing, they were great times!
We will all miss you so very much. You are and always will be my favourite uncle. R.I.P
So long for now, keep singing xxx
