In loving memory of David Marsh who sadly passed away on 12th August 2016
David was born in Colchester 26th November 1936 and as a military family spent many early years living in India before returning to the UK. His father was a band master in the military whose love of music was passed on to him with enthusiasm. David's early career in music started while he has in service with the Royal enneskillens and retrained as a music teacher in the 60's. Brass bands were his passion and he played with many across Wiltshire. David was also a founding member of Swindon Young Musicians.

David suffered with his health for many years but music always helped to pull him through. Sadly dementia took hold, we would love it if you would make a donation to one of the nominated charities in his memory.

David (Mr Marsh) to me was my first music teacher and taught me to play the French Horn. He was such a lovely man, always encouraging and such a good teacher. Great sense of humour and lessons were always fun. So sad to hear of his passing. RIP Mr Marsh xxx
