In loving memory of Michael Parker who sadly passed away on 20th October 2026
There will be a wake after the service at Huddersfield Crematorium. This will be held at The Weavers Shed, 86 Knowl Rd, Golcar, Huddersfield HD7 4AN from 2.30pm onwards.
Michael was a man defined by his extraordinary kindness, steady support, and infectious zest for life. A devoted father and a proud, loving grandad, he was always the first to offer a helping hand or a comforting word.
Michael’s legacy of love, humor, and resilience lives on in the family he adored, inspiring us all to keep living life with joy and to "dance like no one is watching."

Last year, he was diagnosed with Mesothelioma and asked that if you wished to donate to this very important cause in lieu of flowers, please follow the link at the top of the page.
SARAG is an asbestos support group and registered charity that provides free, confidential support, expert welfare benefits advice, and legal signposting for individuals and families affected by mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases across Yorkshire, Humberside, and North Nottinghamshire.
