Peacefully on October 18th aged 86 years, Alf. The beloved husband of Vera, much-loved dad of Ian and Lesley, dear father-in-law of Jackie and Colin. The cherished grandad of Dannii, Ben and Kate. A dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and good friend to many.
Forever in our hearts.
Family and friends please meet for a service to celebrate Alf’s life on Friday November 6th in Sunderland Crematorium at 1.30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu gratefully received for the work of Alzheimer’s Society. A donation box will be available in the crematorium. Please join the family afterwards in The Wild Boar, Houghton-le-Spring for refreshments and to continue celebrating Alf’s life.
