Happy birthday to big Tony 🦁

Growing up, I never really had that close family bond, so I suppose I went looking for it in other places. Your door was always open to me, and although I probably never said it enough at the time, you and Barb were like a mum and dad to me.

I’ve always seen myself as a McDermott, and that’s because of the way you made me feel. You gave me somewhere I felt safe, somewhere I felt welcome, and a place that felt like home. I’ll never forget that, mate.

Thank you for giving me the time of day when it felt like nobody else wanted to. You probably don’t realise just how much that meant to me, but it made a bigger difference than you’ll ever know

I’ll be seeing you, mate. 💙✝️

Tony, where do I even begin? ❤️ From being little kids growing up together to becoming adults, we shared so many memories, so much laughter, and moments I’ll carry in my heart forever. We grew up side by side, making memories that I’ll never forget, and I feel so lucky to have had you as part of my life.
It’s heartbreaking knowing I have to say goodbye to you, my best mate, but I’ll never say goodbye to the memories, the laughs, and the bond we shared. Life will never quite be the same without you, mate.
You may be gone, but you will never, ever be forgotten. You’ll always be a part of me, and no matter how many years pass, I’ll always remember you as my best mate.
Rest easy, Tony. Until we meet again, mate. Forever my best mate, forever in my heart. 💔

In Loving Memory of Tony ❤️🕊️
Tony, you were such a special man, and it’s heartbreaking to think that you’re no longer here. I’ll always treasure hearing the stories of you and my dad growing up together, the mischief, the laughter, and the memories you made as best mates and partners in crime. Those stories will live on forever, keeping a little piece of you alive in all our hearts.
You were loved by so many, and your loss will be felt by so many more. Some people leave this world, but they leave behind a legacy that can never be forgotten. Your name, your stories, and the memories you made will live on forever.
We love you so much, Tony, and you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest peacefully, special man. Gone but never forgotten. ❤️
Forever remembered, forever loved.
All our love, Daisy and Bella ❤️
