In loving memory of George Simpson who sadly passed away at Royal Derby Hospital on Friday 2nd October 2026, aged 72 years.

George was incredibly funny, kind, and deeply caring — a man who filled our lives with laughter and unwavering support. A brilliant mind, he was rarely seen without The Times crossword in hand, and his weekends were strictly dedicated to his lifelong passion as a devoted fan of Rangers FC.

A kind and gentle gentleman affected by the cruelest of diseases.

MSF, such an all encompassing medical based global charity deserving of support. This no way minimises support for the work Alzheimer's Society Derbyshire.
