Sincere condolences to my dearest nieces Natalie and Simone and all the family. So many memories of George taking me back to my childhood. He was absolutely devoted to his two daughters and their families and his unconditional love for them was clear for all to see. Xxx

Such a sad time for all the family .

George will be sadly missed especially his grandchildren as I knew they were his world as well as the girls

As my big cousin is here all the stories from my dad about all my cousins and uncles

Pipe coverers

But it was the stories of George’s that in my eyes were legendary

Rest easy george

I know you will be sitting with Jim and William looking down

Miss you all xxxx💙. GBNF

I've known George since 2015, and I can honestly say I've never met anyone quite like him.

Despite being in his 70s, he always felt more like a school buddy to me. He was incredibly humble, honest, hardworking, and a real fighter, with such a positive spirit.

I genuinely believe it was his sheer positivity, no matter what challenges life threw at him, that helped him through his long-term illnesses. He was a true inspiration to others.

He was always laughing and loved his family unconditionally.

His passing is a real loss, but he leaves behind everlasting memories and stories that will continue to be told.

One thing I'll always remember is his saying: "That's a shame." Like he really meant it.

Always remembered.

For a Family Missing George and sending my deepest sincerest condolences to you all.

George loved in a way that left no one untouched—
a father whose steadiness
made the world feel safe,
a grandfather whose laughter
lifted even the smallest moments.

Natalie and Simone carry his strength,
the kind he gave freely,
the kind that taught them
how to stand tall
even when life tilts.

And Amira, Max, and Magnus—
they will always remember
how his eyes lit up
just seeing them walk into a room,
how his care wrapped around them
like a warm, familiar blanket.

Now the quiet feels heavier,
and the space he filled
feels impossibly large.
But his love didn’t disappear—
it settled into each of you,
into the way you laugh,
into the way you look after one another,
into the way you keep going
even when the missing aches.

Some days will feel sharp,
some nights will feel long.
That’s the shape of grief—
love with nowhere to land.

But George’s love still moves through your lives,
in stories you’ll tell,
in memories that warm your hands,
in the quiet moments
when you feel him close
without needing to see him.

And none of you walk this alone.
You carry him together—
his laughter, his care,
his gentle way of loving—
all of it still yours,
still here,
still guiding.
