On 9th October 2026, in hospital, of Mirfield, aged 90 years, Maureen, beloved wife of the late Gerald, she leaves behind her children Andrew and Rachel who have been the greatest and most precious gift of her life, her two grandchildren, Frederik and Lucy and great grandson Linus her loving daughter in law Annette and son in law Michael.
Funeral service will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Monday 2nd November 2026 at 2.45pm. No flowers by request, donations in Maureen’s memory may be made online, or left in the collection box provided at the service for the benefit of The RNLI Holyhead.

Maureen was a lovely neighbour, welcomed us to the street when we first moved. Will miss the hellos as we pass each other in the street and her stoic independence. Even in Covid and in the snow - she didn’t need anything from the shop thank you. Lovely lady - rest in peace x
