Emily,

Some people come into our lives and leave a mark that can never be erased. You are one of those people for me.

No matter what life brought our way or where our paths led us, you will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved you, cared for you, and always wanted the best for you. Some feelings never disappear, and the care I have for you is something I will carry with me always.

Words cannot fully express what you mean to me or how difficult it is to put these feelings into writing. There are memories I will treasure, moments I will never forget, and a deep sadness that comes from losing someone who meant so much to my life.

But Emily, there is something I want you to know above everything else: Eddie will always be loved and cared for.

I have taken your son into my heart as my own, and I will stand by him throughout his life. I will support him through difficult times, share in his happiness, guide him when he needs direction, and give him the love and security he deserves. He will never have to doubt that he matters or that he has someone in his corner.

I promise you, Emily, that I will care for Eddie until the day I die. This is not an empty promise; it is a commitment I make with all my heart. I will honour it by being present, dependable, and loving, and by doing everything I can to help him grow and build a good life.

Caring for Eddie is one of the most meaningful ways I can honour you. Through him, your memory will always have a place in my life, and I will make sure he knows how deeply he is loved.

Emily, whatever the future holds, you will never simply become a memory to me. You will always be part of my story, part of my heart, and someone I will remember with love.

I wish I could make everything right, take away the sadness, and find the words to express everything I feel. But sometimes love is too deep for words, and all we can do is hold on to the memories and keep the promises that matter most.

Thank you for being part of my life, Emily. Thank you for Eddie and for the bond that will always connect us.

You will always be loved. You will always be remembered. And Eddie will always have my love and support.

Rest peacefully, Emily.

Until the end of my days, a part of you will remain with me.

Forever in my heart.
