In loving memory of our precious husband, dad, grandad and dear friend, who passed away on 4th October 2026

What a long and varied life you lived, from your evacuation to Wales in WW2, through your National Service in the Navy, through to family life and on to a long and happy retirement. A highly principled man with a fair but firm approach, combined with a mischievous sense of humour, earned you a great deal of respect and many, many friends along the way. You had numerous talents, most of which you hid under a bushel, and you participated in various sports through the years - very much a team player. Your kindness, generosity and commitment to so many charitable causes have left an unquantifiable legacy. We are so very proud of you.
We will miss you a great deal and even though the last few months have been very difficult, we still saw many glimpses of our lovely husband, father and grandfather coming through. You retained that mischievous sense of humour till the end and have left us with many happy memories. God bless you.
