Malcolm Lodge (Mal) (27 Sep 1951 - 1 Oct 2026)

Mal did not want a somber affair, so I will say this. "That laugh that he had, it makes me laugh just thinking about it".
Picture this. We are at work, on a building site, sitting on a breezeblock placed on the ground acting as a make shift chair, to eat lunch. Everyone has their heads stuck in a newspaper, eating. One of the lads would say something flippant about an article and Mals head would lift and that Eddie Murphy style laugh would come out, followed by some choice words "Oh ey, yeah he couldn't ....." Funny!!

My brother Mal will be sorely missed. I still find it hard to believe my kid brother is no longer with us. I send comfort and love to Laura and Tom as they grieve their dad who did so much for them and for me and Roy. At least Mal is now with his beloved wife Jean. Love from Auntie Di. xx
