In loving memory of Alan Edward Duncan who sadly passed away on 30th September 2026.
Born 6th September 1949 in Chatham, Alan grew up with his bothers and sister before joining the army at 16. This took him on adventures across the world before he settled with his family in Rochester.
A harding working man who put his family 1st. Pleasures included pretending not to follow football while, weekly, following football & spending time with extended family and friends. But his favourite pass time was a pub quiz. Often going with his daughters and a regular at the Sunday evening local. Always up for laugh and giving away plot twists. A kind man who could be tight on "a round", but wouldn't hesitate to give you the shirt off his back.
His final wishes were, to have a celebration of life, so please no black just plenty of colour on the day.
He will be leaving home for the last time at 3pm and the service medway crem will begin at 3:30pm.
And, lastly, to have one final drink up. If you can afterwards please do join us at the huntsman, patterns lane, to share a brandy or 4 with him.
He will be missed dearly and thought of daily.
Medway crematorium, Friday 30th October, 3:30pm.
