❤️ In loving memory of Dave Hersey who sadly passed away peacefully on 28th September 2026, at the age of 82. A loving Husband, Dad and Grandad, who will be missed greatly and always remembered for his pranks and jokes. Go give them your repertoire up there and don’t forget your saying “I tell the jokes “ ❤️

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Dave will be held at Southend Crematorium on Friday 23rd October at 11:30am, followed by a gathering at the Conservative Club, Shoeburyness SS3 9DH.

Everyone is welcome, and Dave’s family would love to see as many of you there to share stories, fond memories and plenty of his favourite jokes with.

In place of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Dementia UK in memory of Dave.
