On 25th September 2026, at his home in Mirfield, surrounded by the love of his family, aged 91 years, David, loving and devoted husband of the late Margaret, beloved dad of Susan and Helen and father in law of Phill, very dear brother of Margaret and the late Gordon, Louie, Marlene & Peter. A proud grandad of Adam, Claire and Katy, dearly loved great grandad of Taylan, Melia and Malachi, much loved uncle of Shaun and Simone and also uncle to his siblings children and also a dear brother in law.
Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Tuesday 20th October 2026 at 2pm. Friends and family please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. We will be meeting after the service at the Hanging Heaton Cricket Club, Bennet Lane, Hanging Heaton for refreshments. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made online or placed in the collection box at the service for the benefit of Yorkshire Cancer Research.
