What can I say about this lovely kind lady who opened her door to me, and made me feel part of the family. My first memory was your accent and how Paula and I took turns to make a cake on Sundays. They were nothing compared to your legendary Christmas cake, the bendy toys that you painted then were collected. One of my last memories is when you came round 3 years ago and we had pastries and cake. As you were leaving you said can I take my cream cake with me as I have not had mine. After having 2 of them! Plus, you made me sit on the floor so Daniel could sit next to you, then kept telling him how he could move in with you as you had a spare room.
You have a good ole party up there as Dolly decided to join you a week later! Much love and cannot thank you enough for opening up your door and arms to me, without ever trying to replace my mum xxxx

Liz, my aunt Betty, kept reminding me that she knew me when I was 9 years old. I remembered her then and how she could dish out humor with a bit of sarcasm, always in a light hearted way. I will miss her colorful conversations. Rest in peace.
