My Beautiful Mum ❤️

Mum, I don’t think words will ever truly express just how much I love you or how much I am going to miss you.

You were such a beautiful, glamorous lady, always looking your best, with a wonderful sense of style and elegance. But beneath all that glamour was the most loving, caring mum anyone could ever wish for.

And what a wonderful sense of humour you had! You were always joking around, making people laugh and bringing a smile to everyone’s face. You really were the life and soul of any family party. Wherever you were, there was always laughter, fun and a little bit of mischief. You had that wonderful ability to light up a room, and family gatherings will never quite be the same without you.

You always looked after me, no matter how old I got. I was always your boy, and you were always there for me.

It’s the little things I’m going to miss the most. Those daily texts, just checking in, asking how I was or simply letting me know you were thinking of me. I never imagined how much I would miss seeing your name appear on my phone. I’d give anything to receive just one more message from you.

Mum, you’ve left a space in my heart that nobody will ever fill. I feel so lucky and proud to have been your son, and I will treasure every memory, every laugh and every moment we shared.

I know that whenever our family gets together, we will remember your laughter, your wonderful humour and that beautiful smile. And although there will be sadness because you’re no longer with us, I know you would want us to keep laughing, joking and enjoying life, just as you always did.

You may no longer be here for me to see or speak to, but you will always be with me, wherever I go.

I love you, Mum. I miss you more than words can ever say, and I always will.

Forever your loving son. ❤️

Mary was one of my mums friends, whom I met a fair few times. She was always so warm, kind and oh so glamorous! I’ll always remember her nails, her hair, the way she smelled but more importantly her kindness. She’ll leave a big hole in my mum’s life and I’m really saddened to hear of her passing. Rest in peace, lovely Mary. Thinking of you Chris ❤️

My aunt Flo was by far the most glamorous lady. She never went anywhere without her hair, nails or makeup done. As a child I used to always want to look like her when I grew up. I always looked forward to the Sunday visits from aunt Flo and uncle Chris, as Flo always made us laugh and uncle Chris used to do my math's homework.
Aunt Flo was a huge part of my childhood and growing up around her was the best! I used to love it when I went to stay with aunt Flo and uncle Chris in school holidays for a few days, i had a great time.
My heart has another hole in it, but I have the best memories that I hold close to my heart always.

  • Weren’t we lucky Lins, to have an Aunt like Auntie Flo. The Sundays we spent at Nan and Grandads altogether or at one of our Mums, all around chatting and laughing. Auntie Flo would let me try on her amazing sparkly rings! And she always wore delicious smelling perfume! Auntie Flo always had newest perfume out!! Forever young and glamorous indeed. X

My beautiful Nana ❤️
I don’t think I’ll ever have the words to truly explain what you meant to me, or how much I’m going to miss you. I think a part of me always believed you would just always be there.
You were such a huge part of my childhood. My weekends with Dad always seemed to include you and Uncle Chris, usually with you telling me to leave poor Uncle Chris alone 😂. I can still hear that infectious laugh of yours, and I can picture your expressions and the way you would act out every story you told.
When everyone else was disappointed in me for having Ethan so young, you were one of the few people who made me feel like it was a blessing. I remember coming to stay with you for a week. We went shopping, laughed so much, and I even saw my first rat in the wild which had me jumping out of my skin 😂. They might seem like little memories, but they are the moments I will treasure forever.
You also got me into chilli with pasta, and to this day it’s still one of my favourites. ❤️
Our last face-to-face conversation you told me how wonderful my boys were growing up to be and how proud you were of them. Hearing you say that meant more than you could ever have known.
It breaks my heart knowing you won’t be here to watch Ethan and Ellis grow into the men they will become. I still have so much work to do raising them, and I wish more than anything that you could be here to see it.
I’m going to miss you more than words can say, Nana.
Rest peacefully, Nana. Until we meet again. 🕊️
