On 26th September 2026, aged 91 years, Mary, dearly loved wife of David, adored mum of Susan, Gillian, Richard and the late Christine, much-loved grandma to grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday 20th October 2026 at Dewsbury Crematorium at 10.30am. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of the Alzheimer’s Society. The family have requested all in attendance to wear a hint of blue as a delicate nod to Mary’s favourite colour.

Mary, you loved a party and was at the centre of all the fun. Stimied by Alzheimer’s in the end but it never fully took the cheeky funny side of you. Party on dear mum.
