It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeff Thrower, who passed away peacefully on 6th September 2026.
Jeff was a devoted husband, dad, and grandad whose kind heart, warmth, and wonderful sense of humour touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
He was the beloved husband of Gerry, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories until her passing last year.
Together, they raised three wonderful children—Ian, Sacha, and Rachel—and Jeff was also delighted to welcome Alfie into the family as a son-in-law.
He was also a deeply proud grandad to his three cherished grandchildren: Kye, Corey, and Emilia-Rose.
Though he will be deeply missed, Jeff’s spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, and we take comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his beloved Gerry
Rest peacefully.

Jeff was a genuinely good person. A great husband to Gerry. A fantastic dad to Ian, Sacha, Rachel & Alfie too. All of that knowledge was then used to be an unforgettable granddad to Kye, Corey and Emilia-Rose. He was so very proud of them all.
I remember Jeff for his sense of humour. He never said a lot, but he could have you in stitches with just a few words.
Jeff, you’ll be greatly missed by us all.
