In loving memory of Alison Tracy Brown who sadly passed away on 12th September 2026
Alison was born in Dartford daughter to Reg and Lilian Grover. Alison and her family including her Brother David emigrated to NZ in 1966 where her Father worked in the local power station and Alison spent loads of time swimming. Two years later they all returned to the UK and set up home in Dartford. Alison attended Dartford West where we met via mutual friends. Alison later dumped me in favour of a budding Rock Star. Alison joined Lloyd's upon leaving school, and remained a loyal employee until she retired in 2007. At Lloyd's Alison met and retained some life long friends. Alison met and married Kevin living in Maidstone then Sittingbourne. Natalie came along in 1984 and remained an only child who eventually gave Alison six Grandkids that she adored. Alison helped Natalie with hours and hours of baby sitting, mainly looking after Jamie, the eldest. Alison and Kevin divorced after 15 years with Alison remaining in Sittingbourne. Later on Alison devoted a lot of her time to looking after her frail mother often travelling to Dartford. Alison maintained some very close relationships with several of her Lloyd's colleagues. We met again in 2022 after a gap of 49 years. Unfortunately that time was cut short when Alison became ill with Pancreatic cancer in May this year before she passed away in the Wisdom Hospice on the 12th September
