It is with profound sadness that we must announce the passing of our eldest son, Theo.

We are so grateful for every one who has supported us and stood by us throughtout this unimaginable tragedy.

We welcome everyone to the funeral to say goodbye to Theo at the service in St George's Cathedral. If you're a young person and would like to bring a family member to support you, please feel free.

He was hit by a car in July and suffered severe head injuries. Nothing could be done to save him and he passed away a few days later on our wedding anniversary.

If anyone would like to support a charity, we are donating to Brake who supports vicitims and their families affected by road traffic collisions.

St George's has asked us not to bring flowers to the Cathedral, but please feel free to visit his grave and place flowers in Grove Park cemetery in days and weeks ahead.

Theo was the most kind, thoughtful and wonderful young man we could have wished to have in our lives. His 16 years were packed with excitement, optimism and a sense of complete curiosity in everything. He was a total joy to be around.

Our lives have been massively enriched by him, we will always be his very proud parents and brother, he will always be with us, he has shaped who we are. We know many others have been similarly touched by his presence in their lives.

His funeral will take place on Wednesday 7th October at St. George's Cathedral, Southwark. The dress code is black and white, but feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Anyone who knew and loved him is welcome to join us.

Bring a photo or a favourite memory to share on the day. You can also upload on this site.

Much love to you all

Mike, Claire and Oliver

Lester & Tracey Leveridge donated £100 in memory of Theo

In memory of Theo, we make this donation with love and admiration for the remarkable young man whose kindness, warmth and curiosity touched so many lives. Though his years were far too few, the light he brought into the world continues to shine through the countless memories, friendships and acts of kindness he inspired.
May you find comfort in knowing that Theo's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His story is one of love, joy and connection, and the impact he made will endure far beyond his sixteen years.
Sending our deepest condolences to Mike, Claire, Oliver and all who loved Theo. We are holding you in our thoughts and honouring Theo's memory. Lester & Tracey ❤️

There is so little to say and too much to understand as to why such a young life was lost. But my thoughts are with you Claire and family

Having attended many funerals in my life, I have to say yesterday’s Requiem Mass for Theo was one of the most beautiful I have ever attended. The choice of music and readings and the quality with which they were delivered was the best, creating a very serene and prayerful Mass. The Mass was a fitting tribute to Theo and reflected the loving care of Mike, Claire and Oliver for Theo. I pray Theo now rests in peace and that the God of all consolation comforts the Seward family in the days and months ahead. Every blessing, Father Mark.
