Rest in peace George. You were such a genuine and endearing character, and a joy for those who were lucky enough to share your presence. My heart goes out to Isobel and Lisa, and the rest of your family who loved you dearly. I’m sure Harrison (& maybe even Elodie one day) will carry on your passion for football and make sure your legacy lives on. I’ll be cheering on the blue side of Glasgow just for you 💙

Good bless you pal. One of the most genuine people I’ve ever met! I used to love it when I saw you down Dunkirk and we’d have our usual chat! Showing me a lot of love for what I was doing? That meant a lot to me…more than you knew!
Your relationship with my brother is another thing I won’t ever forget. Probably why this hurts more than I thought? Give that “diamond”(your words-no mine!)a hug from me pal.
Love to your family and friends.
