Roz was a phenomenal person to all. - including me to whom a friendship lasted more than three decades and strong bonds and faithful to when we came together either or in writing - as a historian and gardening I bonded as Roz as an academic of ancient Egypt and encouraged her as well as plants and fruits whenever we came .
Roz was a very courageous person and fought the blood cancer with all her strength. She leaves this earth with pride - and as the saying goes ‘ we will not see her like again. Her family who were there leave a large hole and her husband Gordon Falconer and I am proud of her wandering star.

In loving memory of Rosalind Catherine Margaret Park who sadly passed away on 17th September 2026
Rosalind “Roz” Park died on 17 September 2026, aged 79. Born in Sydney, Australia, Roz lived a wonderfully varied and well-travelled life, from her early years in Australia and Penang to nursing in Sydney, Montreal and the UK. A lifelong traveller and student, she had an enduring fascination with Ancient Egypt, archaeology and astrology, returning to Egypt many times and continuing to research, write and pursue what she called “the secrets of the universe”.
Roz was fiercely independent, curious and full of character, with friendships that spanned decades and continents. She leaves behind her husband Gordon, daughters Alex, Theo and Sylvia, siblings Graham, John and Jan, and many much-loved friends around the world. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
