In Loving Memory of Shirley Blackwell.
Born on 6th December 1948 in Kenninghall, Norfolk, to Charlie and Gwen, she was a much-loved daughter, sister, mum, nan, aunt and friend.
She grew up alongside her siblings Margaret, Pam and David. Her brother Tony was also an important part of her family story. She went on to build a loving family of her own, sharing many happy years with her husband John, their children Grant, Michelle, Mark and Sarah and their nine grandchildren.
Family and friends were at the heart of her life. Mum loved to have fun, enjoyed a good party and loved to dance. She loved shopping, travelling and, above all, spending time with the people she loved.
She and John spent many happy years enjoying time in Thetford before retiring to Stalham, where they made many wonderful memories and friendships in both places. In her later years, they moved to Norwich, remaining close to family and friends.
She loved to travel, and Italy held a particularly special place in her heart.
She will be remembered for her love of life, her laughter, her love of dancing and the many happy memories she created with those around her.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Shirley had such a zest for life! Always a smile on her face and caring words of advice, sometimes just being in fits of laughter for no reason! Shirley your strength and courage were nothing short of admirable, rest in paradise and carry on dancing!!
