James Reginald Kent (8 Jun 1938 - 6 Sep 2026)

It is with deep sadness that the Kent Family announce the passing of James Reginald Kent on 6th September 2026, aged 88. An original countryman and farmer. James/Jimmy/Stav died peacefully at home following a short illness. A true family man, widower of the late Jill Kent, father to Tracey and Gary; a doting grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all friends and family. The funeral service will take place at All Saints Church, Mendham, on Friday 16th October, at 11am, and afterwards at Mendham & Withersdale Village Hall. Dearest brother of Tubby, June, Brenda, Brian and families, and siblings already departed. Strong family bonds and cherished memories spanning many decades.
