Peacefully at home, with loved ones at his side, on September 9th aged 79 years, John. The devoted husband of Joan, much-loved dad of Rachel and Adele, adored grandad of Adam, Isla, Harry and Isabella. Forever in our hearts.
Family and friends please meet on Thursday October 1st for a service in St Cuthbert’s Church, East Rainton at 10.00am. A private interment will follow.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu gratefully received for Marie Curie. A donation box will be available in the church. Please join the family afterwards in Sixty-One Durham, Pittington (formerly Hallgarth Manor) for refreshments and to continue celebrating John’s life
