On 1st September 2026, Edward passed away peacefully at Aston Manor Care Home, of Dewsbury, aged 94 years, Ted, beloved dad of Edwina and Jeremy, much loved grandad of Amy, Tom
and Mia.
Ted was a keen ballroom dancer and cricket player and in his retirement years took up bowls with Soothill bowling club for over 20 years where he became secretary.
Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Thursday 24th
September 2026 at 2.00pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation
Flowers will be received at George Brooke’s Chapel of Rest, Dewsbury or if
preferred donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box
provided for the benefit of Alzheimer’s Research
