In memory of Geoffrey David Cops who passed away on the 1st September 2026, with his loving family.
A man of many passions and hobbies, Geoff was a unique individual who lived his life to the full and loved nothing more than surrounding himself with family, friends and laughter.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday 29th September at 3:00 pm at Southend Crematorium.
The wake will follow at Hullbridge Sports Club from 4:30 pm.

Such a huge character and part of my childhood . His presence was always known, filling every room with laughter and somehow making even the most ordinary things, like breakfast, feel like a real ‘occasion’.

I have known Geoff since the 1980’s from working in the plant hire industry.
I will always remember Geoff as a generous, happy man with a great sense of humour who was easy to get on with and always willing to strike a conversation.
Although we didn’t see each other very often whenever we met it was like we had only just spoken yesterday.
Fond memories.
My thoughts are with the family at this time.
