In loving memory of Dottie

I first met Dot when she joined our London office as a temp, and before long she became a permanent and very valued member of the team. She was a wonderful legal secretary, but to me she was so much more than that.

Dottie was warm, welcoming and always such good company. Lunchtimes were never quite the same without her, and she certainly knew how to enjoy a good office night out! She brought a lovely energy wherever she went, and her friendship was something I came to treasure.

When Dottie retired, thankfully that wasn’t the end of our friendship. We continued to meet regularly, and our little lunch club grew into something very special. It was through those lunches that I shared many happy times with Dottie, Debbie and Maggie — lots of laughter, stories, good food and, of course, the occasional glass or two!

Dottie was a truly lovely person and a dear friend. I feel very lucky to have known her and to have shared so many happy memories together.

I shall miss you more than words can say, Dottie. You will always have a special place in my heart, and whenever we raise a glass, you can be sure I’ll be raising one (or two!) to you.

Rest peacefully, dear friend. You will never be forgotten. ❤️
