In loving memory of Anthony William Millard who passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on 20th August 2026.
Tony (Ant) lived a beautifully full life that saw him collect treasured memories and close friendships wherever he found himself. He loved adventure; travelling, living and motorbiking all over the world, from Norwich to Singapore to Amsterdam and Bangkok. He never waited to enjoy his life, and while we are missing him deeply from ours, we will remember him for being a loving husband, his generosity with his time and attention, being a brilliant father and grandfather who loved children, and his readiness for a laugh at the drop of a hat.
However you knew Ant, you're welcome to join us in celebration of his life on 26th September at Green Acres, Colney Park, Norwich at 13:00 followed by The Weavers Arms (2 Muspole St, Norwich) from 14:30 onwards. There will also be a live stream of the funeral service for those who can't make it in person. If you can make it, we're very much looking forward to seeing you.
Whether you can be there on the 26th or not, it would mean a lot to us for you to share your memories of Ant on this page along with any photos you have.
Family flowers only on the day please, but any donations would be welcomed for The Royal Life Boat Institution and Amnesty International UK; two charities that were close to Ant's heart.

Such sad sad news. A great fella to be with: cared and had a view about everything that mattered. Fond memories, albeit sparse over the decades, but nonetheless precious. So glad of the time Tony spent with us in Wales and our meals together in Bangkok at the beginning of 2024. Hard to believe they would be our last. Farewell lovely man. Jon and Sue xx

Ant - memories go way back to when we met, at age 12, standing at the bus stop on our first day at Boundstone; of many games of Black Maria at the parents house, in Lancing, during (very extended) lunch breaks from school:and more recently staying in Norwich on a trip from Australia.
I'll miss Ant's fantastic G&T icy poles made with cheeky smiles and much love.
