In Loving Memory of Denis
It is with great sadness that I share the passing of my wonderful husband, Denis, who passed away peacefully on 19 August 2026, after a brave struggle with Parkinson’s disease over the past few years.
Denis was a loving and devoted husband, a wonderful father, and a much-loved grandfather. He meant so much to all of us and leaves behind a lifetime of happy memories. He was also fortunate to have many close and treasured friends who brought so much joy and laughter into his life.
Denis loved bright colours, so it feels especially fitting that our family will all be wearing a splash of yellow in his memory. Yellow was the colour of the flowers at our wedding, making it a beautiful reminder of the love and happiness we shared in our 39 years together.
Although our hearts are heavy with sadness, we hope to remember Denis for the love, laughter, friendship and wonderful memories he gave us all.
Flowers would be greatly appreciated, but Denis’s preference would be  for donations to be made to Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, who provide such wonderful care and support.
Everyone is warmly welcome to join me and the family at the funeral and after at the wake, where we can come together, share our memories and raise a glass or two to Denis — just as he would have wanted.
