Thinking of John and his family constantly. John was a wonderful motivator, a compassionate leader, and a great influence on so many people. A devoted family man, talented sportsman, and competitive character, he lived life to the full and touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. First met John through my work quite a while back then went on to play football when he was a manager and later Catherine married our eldest son Lee John was always a true gentleman and good friend always a pleasure to to meet up with either golfing or socialising pat and myself will sadly miss him rest in peace and god bless john

It was an absolute privilege to have known John as my boss, football coach and fiend for over 30 years. John contributed to my development during my working career and was someone who we all admired and respected, he was a great colleague and a true gentleman.
You will be sorely missed!
