STRAGHAN ANNE Died 29th August 2026 late of Mulderg Drive. Beloved wife of the late Tab, much loved mother of Mandy, Margaret, Tommy and John and a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral service to be held in Newtownabbey Crematorium on Tuesday 8th at 11am. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to The Salvation Army c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 117-121 Shankill Road, Belfast, BT13 1FD. Will be sadly missed by her loving family circle. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me Psalm 23:4.

To Noá, Chloe, Maggie, and all the family,
Sending you all my deepest love as you remember Granny Anne. She was such a extraordinary woman. So remarkably smart, resilient, and full of life. She had a rare gift for never letting the bad in life outweigh the good. I’ll always treasure her random phone calls for a yarn, and I will never forget how thoughtfully she always asked after me and checked in on how I was doing.
Hearing that she once wanted to be a teacher made so much sense! Those natural, patient, and nurturing qualities shone through so clearly in the way she loved and guided Noá. She poured so much goodness into her family.
'The grand essential in life is something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.'
Rest in peace, Granny Anne. Thinking of you all so much.
