In loving memory of Ian Leslie Cook, who sadly passed away on 22nd August 2026.

Ian faced cancer with remarkable courage for three years. Throughout his illness, he remained positive and determined, meeting each challenge with strength. He continued to make jokes and lift the spirits of those around him right up until the final days, a true reflection of the warmth and resilience that defined him. Dad’s ability to stay positive and light‑hearted, even in the hardest moments, will always be remembered.

Ian will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife, daughter, his two grandsons, his six brothers, and all extended family and friends. His kindness, gentle humour and unwavering bravery will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

For My Grandad ❤️

I’ll always treasure the memories we shared,
From our adventures in America and the studios,
To those unforgettable Halloween nights.

I’ll never forget the turkey legs,
The laughter, the silly moments,
And especially the time someone stood on someone’s foot
And somehow Grandad ended up with a drink thrown at him!

These are the memories that will stay with me forever.
Thank you for all the love, laughter and memories, Grandad.
You will always have a special place in my heart.

Rest peacefully. You will never be forgotten. ❤️

No matter how difficult your life became with illness you faced it head on and with a smile, always having a positive attitude. I shall always remember our laughs together and especially some of your family jokes.
Rest in peace with the knowledge that I shall always be proud to call you Brother.

Will miss you always, forever in my heart and thoughts. It’s hard not seeing you or talking to you. You fought bravely right to the end. Rest now, Dad. I carry you in my heart, and I know you’re still watching over us.
