Florence May “nee Chicken”

Peacefully in Primrose Care Home on 20th August 2026 aged 93 years. Florence, beloved wife of the late Kenneth, dearly loved mam of Carol, Kevin & Lynne, loving mother in law to Billy, Susan and Les, much loved gran to Sarah, Emma & Jamie, little grandma to Penny, Joseph, Dylan, Tommy & Jax, dear sister in law to Vera and will be sadly missed by all her friends and family.

Friends please meet for service in Hetton Independent Methodist Church on Wednesday 23rd September at 10.00am followed by cremation at Sunderland Crematorium.

Everyone is welcome to Hetton Big Club afterwards for refreshments and to share memories of Florence.
Family flowers only please, donation in lieu would be appreciated to ELCAP by a collection in Church.
