Dearest Maureen
Just over 50 years ago I was warmly accepted and welcomed into your wonderful family. During this time and up until the day that you very sadly passed away, you gave me numerous fabulous memories which I will truly cherish and which will remain in my heart forever.
Your warmth, your love, your generosity, your sense of fun and your beautiful smile are just a few of the things that I will miss. Our lives are now poorer now that you are sadly no longer with us.
Thank you for all of the joy, the fun, the laughter and memories too numerous to mention. Thank you also for your delicious trifle even though it was missing the sherry! Thank you for everything but most of all, in the words of Dean Martin, thank you for ‘The Good Times’.
We love you, we miss you and we will never forget you.
The journey does not end here. Love continues in the stories we tell and the memories we keep.
