In loving memory of Melanie Elizabeth Martin (nee Finch) who sadly passed away on 3rd February 2016.
Melanie was a devoted wife, loving mother of four, grandmother to three, and a true friend of many. As a family, we are devastated that she has left us - but we want to ensure her wonderful life is celebrated in a way she would have loved.
Mum battled bravely against cancer for more than 3 years, and in spite of the odds she remained strong and positive. Right up until the end she kept her smile, her sense of humour and her passion for family.
The ceremony will take place at Vinters Park Crematorium, Maidstone, on 22nd February from 10.15am.
Afterwards, we will gather at New Ash Green Pavilion, Punch Croft Road, Kent DA3 8HS, from around 11.30am, for food, drink and music.
Although there is no dress code, we ask that people wear an item of blue clothing or an accessory. If not, think 'bright' and 'cheerful', which is what mum would have wanted.
Instead of flowers. we would love that any donations are given to the Ellenor hospice by using the link on this page, or via envelopes that we will have with us at the Crematorium.
