Just a small message about the memories Trevor has left behind. He was generous with time and his DIY skills. He repaired items of furniture, and also a guitar had got from somewhere in very poor condition. He cooked a mean BBQ. I once found him in his dressing gown in the road, feeding a stray cat (who clearly was used to this and waiting for him). And then there was Lulu, who he told the Medical Registrar would help look after him if they discharged him to home ....

An unusual combination of talents! He will be very much missed I feel. My good wishes to his son and friends.

Dear Trevor was a wonderful neighbour & friend to myself & husband John RIP, for over 50 years. He was always willing to help us, or repair anything that needed doing, & had a wide variety of tools & skills. He will be greatly missed. xxx

So many memories to choose from... but one thing Trevor liked was our winter BBQ's and especially when there was snow on the ground. One late BBQ was in mid May, still cold so we decided to light up a BBQ on Botany Bay beach and collect mussels from the rocks for lunch. Unfortunately, all the mussels had gone so Trevor said let's cook limpets instead which were there by the 1000. They were very difficult to dislodge and very small so we had to eat a lot of them. I had never heard of anyone ever eating limpets but we did and I am sort of convinced we enjoyed them. He was ever an eccentric !
