In loving memory of Margaret Winifred Markides, who sadly passed away on 15 August 2026.
Margaret lived a life marked by compassion, dedication and a deep love for her family. Nursing was her calling, and throughout a career spanning more than four decades she cared for people in many settings, and she particularly cherished memories of her early nursing years at Tonbridge Cottage Hospital during the 1950s.
Margaret treasured spending time with her three children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and was a lifelong and passionate gardener, .
Margaret will be remembered with great affection for her kindness, independence and devotion to caring for others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
