On 12th August 2026, peacefully in hospital, of Hanging Heaton, Dewsbury, aged 73 years, David, beloved husband of Glenda, dearly loved brother of Jennifer and Julie, a much loved uncle and a dear friend to many. Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 1.15pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of Forget me not Children’s Hospice and Smile Train, charities which were close to David’s heart . Followed by refreshments at Hanging Heaton Cricket club Bennett Lane Dewsbury.

A dear friend who always had a friendly word and a merry quip. The hours we sat watching Hunslet at Parkside with Gary when we were young.
Then a few years later propping the bar up in various pubs in Leeds.
Sadly missed I’ll see you old pal
