John Naylor (3 Feb 1948 - 5 Aug 2026)

In loving memory of John Naylor who sadly passed away on 5th August 2026.
Husband of Carole Anne, brother to Keith, dad to Paul, Karen, and Tracy and granddad to 7.
Dad worked as a bus conductor, electrician and television engineer. He had a keen interest in anything electronic, mechanical or comfortably valve-y. Whether vintage valve amps, the rumble of motorbikes and cars, or the rhythmic crackle of airwaves through his adored ham radio, Dad was in his element. If it had gears, circuits or an engine he would tinker away for hours and his hands were never far from a toolkit or a soldering iron.
He loved to chat and command his audience and was wonderfully, unapologetically himself. Dad was driven by an unstoppable compulsion to explain, fix and finish whatever he set out to do no matter how many hours it took. If Dad had a point to make everyone present was going to hear it through to the final sentence and he is already missed by us all. Well, except Mum who thinks he is in the wardrobe.
