In loving memory of William ‘Bill’ Ford who sadly passed away on 2nd August 2026 at Southend Hospital.

He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Bren, a wonderful step dad, uncle and grandad (Pops Bill) who was loved by everyone he met. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all that knew him - but we know he is happy again, having made his way to be beside his Bren once again.

One of Bill’s keen hobbies was boats and the water. Right up until his passing, he was a volunteer member of Coastwatch for 14 years and looked forward to spending each Monday with his friends and team there. This is why we kindly ask people to donate to a cause close to his heart - NCI, the National Coastwatch Institution. If you would prefer, flowers are also more than welcome.

We will be celebrating his life at Basildon Crematorium (Riverview) at 12pm on Wednesday 2nd September. Afterwards, we will be heading to The Benfleet Yacht Club (SS8 0QT) - everyone is welcome.

We will miss you so much Bill & our chats on Skype with you and Bren every Christmas.
So many find memories of you both, in England & here in Australia.
Now reunited with Bren. May you R.I.P.
Our thoughts are with you, Stacey & family. Sorry we can't be there.
Love & best wishes from Dave & Dawn 🌹
