In loving memory of Thomas David Haley who sadly passed away very unexpectedly on 9th July 2026.

Thomas was born on 1st April 2010 in Chertsey to Anne and Phil. Following complications during his birth, he was diagnosed with severe Cerebral Palsy when he was four months old.

Thomas attended nursery at White Lodge Centre in Surrey from the age of two and the School for Parents at Ingfield Manor School in West Sussex. The family moved to Horsham when Thomas was three and he had the good fortune to obtain a place at Ingfield Manor School. Starting in pre-school, Thomas progressed through Primary and Secondary, developing in all areas.

He was a strong, healthy boy who overcame a lot of adversity including major orthopaedic operations to his hips and spine. He always bounced back quickly, returning to school far sooner than expected.

Away from school, Thomas enjoyed exciting activities such as rollercoasters and adaptive surfing. In February 2026 he went adaptive skiing in the French Alps and for his 16th birthday in April he was thrilled by his ride on a power boat in Portsmouth Harbour and on the Solent.

Thomas was a mischievous, cheeky boy and this developed further in his teenage years. He loved music, in particular, George Ezra and always enjoyed water and movement. He was a beautiful boy who grew into a handsome young man. He had lovely deep brown eyes and many people said they envied his curly hair and long eyelashes.

Thomas was a happy young man who had a positive effect on everyone who knew him. He was adored by his parents Anne and Phil, his care team and everyone involved with him. He lived life to the full and squeezed many activities and adventures into his short life.
