So many happy memories growing up with you, Mum and brother Jeremy in Poppleton. My fondest memories are of you painstakingly teaching me to read by underlining all.the vowels in each in each word. As a result I was top of my class in reading and spellings. You nurtured a real love of books and always read a passage from the Bible each evening as you tucked me up in bed. Another interest you nurtured was on joining the brownies and girl guides. I went on to become super of the Pixies in Brownies and patrol leader of the robins in the guides. You always helped me get packed up to go off to guide camps as you'd been a scout leader in Sheffield.

I learnt a lot about music too as you frequently brought home a new classical music LP tho I only shared your passion for J S Bach in moderation.

You did so much in your church ministry after being ordained and even produced pantomimes for the church choir to perform in.

You will leave a huge hole in our lives but glad you are at peace with our dear Mum
All my love
Gill your daughter

Michael Fossett, my father-in-law, known to me as Dad. Grandpa to my girls. I have such fond memories built up over more than thirty years. A railway man, a church man. I remember a much loved Dad who loved nothing more than a mug of coffee, a cheese scone, his Telegraph crossword and a seat in the sun listening to the sea. Simple holidays by the seaside surrounded by his family made him happy. Equally, Christmas times singing carols, watching an old movie, enjoying a Baileys and a mince-pie. A delicious Christmas lunch with a plate overflowing with food. Michael never left a scrap! He left following his visits with his weight increased by a number of pounds but with his heart lightened by the love of his family. In later years, the joy brought by his grandchildren and great grandchildren to both him and his beloved wife Rosemary was a delight to see. Rest in peace Dad. All my love xx
