Alison, I can't believe you're gone. Although we haven't seen each other for many years we were almost inseparable when the kids were young and the memories we shared haven't faded. Christmas and New Year's eve parties where we did the rowing dance and banged dustbin lids together, pot noodles and saucepans in the paddling pool at Pontins. "loco Bambino" and Karaoke in Majorca and dancing to Abba and Steps on crazy nights out. Through the happy times and the difficult ones we were always there for each other.
You were the first of my friends to meet Chloe just a few hours after she was born, a moment I will always treasure.
Above all you were fiercely loyal, deeply protective of your family and your kindness and strength left a mark on everyone who knew you.
Thank you for the laughter, the friendship and the memories. You will always be remembered with love.
