I’ve been trying to find the words for days now, but truth is there isn’t any… you was the closet thing I ever had to a dad. My babies grandpa.. my mums rock. You are already missed immensely, the memories we’ve spoken about these past couple of weeks will stay with us forever, you really have bought the family back together again, we hope you can see & hear.
Your grandbabies are missing you very much, Amiya sends kisses to the stars at night, junior won’t stop admiring your boats that you built I think he has his eye on one! & Lottie-Mae well I need no words you know how special your relationship was!
I hope you are watching over us all wherever you may be, we all still need a kick up the backside & your wise words. I’ll miss your humour, how one look we’d know what each other was thinking!
Over the next couple of days we take you on your final journey, truth is non of us are ready, you should be here with us with your grandbabies life is unfortunately very cruel and they really do take the best from us.
We love you very much, we’ll never forget you & never stop telling your grandbabies how much you love them!
I hope to see you again one day.
You have many nicknames with my children from grandpa to bigfat bum cheeks to muffin man.
Sleep tight pops look after everyone up there as we will down here ❤️

To everyone else, he was an incredible man. To me he was my Daddykins.

He was the most amazing dad I could ever have wished for. He always knew exactly what to say to make everything feel better and no matter what life threw at me, he somehow made it all seem manageable.

I loved our weekly visits. They meant so much to me even though he was often more interested in running around and playing with his “Papa’s Princess”. He was an amazing dad, and an even better papa. I’ll miss the pointless conversation and belly laughs when he’s getting bossed around by Marnie. I’ll miss the regular random text messages where he mentions how much he loves me.

I don’t know how I’m going to cope without him. It feels like a huge part of my life is missing. We were so alike that he understood me in a way no one else could ever match.

Thank you Daddykins for being you. I will love you, miss you and will carry you in my heart every single day.

I still can’t believe you’re gone, a piece of my heart has gone with you that I’ll never get back.

You always knew exactly what to say. No matter what I was worrying about, your advice could make everything feel okay. I’ll never forget the words you lived by: “If you can’t control it, don’t worry about it.” It’s something I’ll carry with me forever, even though I wish I could still hear you saying it.

Thank you for being my dad, my safe place, and my biggest supporter. Thank you for the love, the laughter, the lessons, and the memories. I hope you knew just how loved you were.

I love you more than words will ever say, Daddykins, and I’ll miss you every single day.

My beautiful husband John 💙
Where do I begin 💔
I went looking for a shed and instead I spent my last £ 5.00 on replying to your add in the paper and the rest is history.
From then I gained a best friend , the love of my life and the only person that ever truly knew the real me .
I was and still am very proud to be your wife and I will always be in awe of your amazing strength and determination to overcome all what was thrown at you.
I so miss you right now and I’d happily spend my last £5.00 again to do it all over again with you .
Rest in eternal peace my darling and be waiting there for me when it’s my time …. I’ve got a beautiful family and our grandchildren to look after so I might be a while ❤️
Love you now and forever
Wifey ❤️❤️

John, I still can not grasp that you are not with us anymore, I still walk into the flat thinking you are going to be at your desk building somthing or in the garden cutting wood up for your next project you are going to build because you should still be with us watching your grand baby's grow up, driving my mum mad with all your tools going of, what we wouldn't do to hear that noise again. I will cherish all the memories we have i couldn't of asked for a better dad you never failed to makes us laugh. Chloe misses you so much, we are all heartbroken if love could of saved you, you would still be with us. Go be your funny goofy self up there with all the other beautiful people we have lost love you so much until we meet again love from you heartbroken daughter 💙
